Come to the California State LP Convention April 27-29

“Spanning three days and covering dozens of exciting topics, our speakers will keep you engaged, educated, and inspired.” So reads the state website regarding this year’s convention at the Marriott Hotel in Long Beach. And with a line-up including former LP VP candidates Judge Jim Gray and Governor William Weld, Matt Welch of Reason magazine, and National LP Chair Nicholas Sarwark, you will be glad you came. Of course, there will also be (free) regular business sessions to review our By-Laws and Platform, but even they can be entertaining. Plan to attend even if you can only make it for one day. Friday night will be a reception. Saturday and Sunday will have a full day agenda. Saturday night will be a special dinner with speaker.

CANCELLED DUE TO FIRES You’re Invited to a Holiday Social Wed December 6

CANCELLED DUE TO FIRES Add this event to your holiday calendar. Let’s end the year with a festive holiday social at Marie Callender’s in Ventura on Wednesday December 6th, starting at 6:30 PM and ending around 8:30 PM. Enjoy a gathering with fellow Libertarians where new and current members will be treated to a free slice of pie. The restaurant is located at 1295 So. Victoria Avenue. Exit the 101 at Victoria and turn north (don’t let the “south” in the street address confuse you). If you are coming from the south you will have to make a U-turn right after you see the restaurant on the left. As always, the public is invited and everyone will be eligible for a free raffle. Hope to see all our members there.

Please contact us if you would like to be part of this outreach project. Thousand Oaks is an area of high interest in libertarian values. Your help is needed to capture more registered Libertarians and hopefully more county/state members as well. Increasing membership is one of our primary goals. We’ll also be looking for possible candidates for political office.
