Come to the California State LP Convention April 27-29

“Spanning three days and covering dozens of exciting topics, our speakers will keep you engaged, educated, and inspired.” So reads the state website regarding this year’s convention at the Marriott Hotel in Long Beach. And with a line-up including former LP VP candidates Judge Jim Gray and Governor William Weld, Matt Welch of Reason magazine, and National LP Chair Nicholas Sarwark, you will be glad you came. Of course, there will also be (free) regular business sessions to review our By-Laws and Platform, but even they can be entertaining. Plan to attend even if you can only make it for one day. Friday night will be a reception. Saturday and Sunday will have a full day agenda. Saturday night will be a special dinner with speaker.

This is a time to connect with others with a similar view of the world. It’s a time to share ideas for how to increase our numbers. It’s an opportunity to get jazzed up and re-fired over the Libertarian message. And it’s always great to be there to represent our county. Be sure to let us know if you will be going so we can ensure your Delegate status and right to vote on convention issues. But I should mention that ALL are welcome, members or not, Libertarians or not.

For more information, visit the state website ca.lp.org. There you can pay for additional events such as the speaker meetings and banquet. Or, if you plan to stay overnight, you can reserve a room with the LP discount. To everyone from Ventura County,  looking forward to getting together with you in Long Beach!
