The national LP will be holding Affiliate and Campaign training on August 14^th and 15^th at the Long Beach Marriott.  This will be available for all members of either national or state and is free of charge. This is our region's training class for those considering running for office or for those who want to be more active in the party. Spearheaded by sitting Burnsville, Minnesota city council member Cara Schulz, the program is an intensive, in-person, introductory program. You must be a Libertarian to attend. 

There are two simultaneous educational tracks to choose between:
1) Campaign Fundamentals: familiarize Libertarian candidates and staff with the basic elements of running a political campaign
2) Affiliate Leadership Fundamentals: train present and future Affiliate Leaders

Based on feedback from previous attendees, these two free training tracks are amazing. Some of our California folks are also attending the Region 1 training in Utah this weekend to be able to attend both tracks of training.

There will also be a (pay to attend) Casino Night Reception supporting our Candidate Support Committee on Saturday August 14^th after the training.
